Strandbad Grünau on Langen See
Strandbad Grünau is located in the Grünau district (Treptow-Köpenick borough) on the shore of Langen See, part of the Dahme-Seenkette lake chain in southern Berlin. The lido is one of Berlin's oldest swimming pool facilities, nestled in a characteristic expanse of forest, lake, and sandy beach. For several years, the grounds have established themselves as the venue for several beach festivals — Lovebeach Legends is one of the largest formats.
Two Stages, One Beach Atmosphere
Unlike classic Berlin club nights, Lovebeach focuses on a full day outdoors: Beach Stage directly by the water, Forest Arena in the adjacent forest area. The musical spectrum remains within the electronic genre — from techno edits to deep house and trance — played by DJs who have helped shape the German scene, some since the 1990s. Cabanas and daybeds, bars and food stalls, swimming right in front of the stage — all this allows for a festival that is more reminiscent of Mallorca or Ibiza than classic Berlin open airs.
Concept and Entry Rules
18+ entry requirement, no cash on site (card payment only), no parking — arrive by public transport or bicycle. Tickets sold in tiered advance sales (Early Bird, regular, last minute). Welcome drink included in the ticket price. Prohibited items: weapons, glass bottles, large bags, fireworks. Anyone who wants to combine a full day of electronic music, swimming, and sun will find themselves here — Berlin combines two of its urban characteristics here: the techno scene and the bathing tradition on the outer district lakes.
Lovebeach Legends — edition 2026
Lovebeach Legends 2026 gathers some of the most influential names of the German electronic scene on July 25th, 2026, from 2 PM to 10 PM at Strandbad Grünau. Two stages will be set up: the Beach Stage directly on the shore of Langen See and the Forest Arena in the adjacent forest area. The welcome drink is included in the ticket price. Cabanas, daybeds, food stalls, bars, and swimming facilities shape the day's activities. Entry is for 18+.

- Westbam — DJ pioneer of the German techno scene since the late 80s, co-founder of the Mayday festival
- Moguai — German techno and electro house DJ, one of the defining voices of the 2010s
- Thomas Schumacher (Electric Ballroom) — Berlin techno DJ and label head
- JayDee — Dutch techno DJ, known for classics like "Plastic Dreams"
- Miss Roxy — Berlin DJ, playing house and tech-house sets

Strandbad Grünau, Sportpromenade 9, 12527 Berlin (Treptow-Köpenick district, Grünau locality). S-Bahn lines S8/S46 to Grünau, Tram 68 to Strandbad. No parking facilities — arrive by public transport or bicycle.
