About Ein Tag am Strand
Ein Tag am Strand — edition 2026
On Friday, July 10, 2026, Strandbad Grünau invites you for the fourth time to 'Ein Tag am Strand' with Gestört aber GeiL. From 4 PM to 10 PM, the sandy beach on the Langen See transforms into an open festival stage. Directly by the water, with the Berlin skyline in the background and the possibility to swim in the lake, it is one of Berlin's most atmospheric beach formats.
Gestört aber GeiL traditionally plays multiple sets throughout the afternoon and evening. The sound ranges from deep house to melodic tech-house and vocal-oriented tracks, fitting the time of day between sunshine and sunset. Food trucks, a beach bar, and seating on sand and wooden platforms complement the setup.

Beach Vibes in Southeastern Berlin
Grünau on the Langen See is one of Berlin's most beautiful waterfront locations. Berlin's first public lido was established here as early as 1880. Today, STADT. LAND. BAD. GmbH operates the Strandbad Grünau – a mix of a classic family pool, water sports center, and cultural venue. In summer, the beach becomes an open-air festival backdrop several times a year: 'Ein Tag am Strand' is the format that generates the most ticket sales.
Gestört aber GeiL – The Berlin Brand
The headliner is the Berlin producer duo Gestört aber GeiL (Felix Räuber and Nico Wendel), which has conquered German and international charts with catchy house and deep house tracks ('Unter meiner Haut', 'Ich & Du') and remixes. At 'Ein Tag am Strand', the duo appears in its usual format: long, DJ-oriented sets with live elements that perfectly suit the time of day between sun and sunset.
Beach Festival Format
The festival is designed as a day event: 4 PM to 10 PM, right by the water, with sand under your feet. One stage, several DJ sets, plus a bar, food trucks, and swimming facilities in the lake – the concept is proven. The atmosphere is more familiar and relaxed than at classic large raves; the target audience (18+) brings their blankets and beach towels. Those who want to extend the program can head to one of the beach bars on the Langen See after the festival.
Berlin Beyond the City Center
Visitors to 'Ein Tag am Strand' get to know a side of Berlin that many capital city visitors overlook: the water-rich southeast between Köpenick, Grünau, and Müggelsee. An S-Bahn ride from Alexanderplatz to Grünau station takes less than 30 minutes – arriving and being at the lake is a matter of moments here. Important distinction: The 'Ein Tag am Strand' format is NOT identical to the larger open-air concert 'Gestört aber GeiL – Das Festival' at the Parkbühne Wuhlheide.
