Two-day music and art festival in the park of the manor estate
Schloss & Gut Liebenberg is located in Löwenberger Land, in the Oberhavel district, about 60 km northwest of Berlin. The former seat of the Princes of Eulenburg is now a cultural education facility of the DKB Foundation for Social Engagement. The castle, manor estate, riding facility, and the extensive castle park form a 600-hectare ensemble that offers a dense program of events in the summer.
The Landpartie is the summer opener of the Liebenberg cultural calendar. For two days, the castle park is transformed into a festival stage with several venues. Open-air concerts, art exhibitions in the stables, workshops for children and adults, culinary stands with regional products – the mix follows the concept of a classic manor festival with contemporary programming.
The Landpartie is part of the Liebenberg Summer of Culture, which runs into autumn. A week later – on June 21, 2026 – the Fête de la Musique will take place on the manor estate. Further dates: open-air cinema, theater, culinary events, guided tours, children's programs. Those who are captivated once will return.
The DKB Foundation sees Liebenberg as a model location for the connection of nature conservation, education, and culture. The estate is managed ecologically, the riding program follows socio-pedagogical concepts, and the event program focuses on contemporary and participatory formats. The Landpartie is one of the most popular formats of the year.
In the state of Brandenburg, Liebenberg is among the most ambitious cultural castles – comparable to the Brandenburg Summer Concerts series or Rheinsberg Castle. The combination of nature, architecture, and program attracts an urban audience from Berlin and a local audience from the Oberhavel district. A day trip that is worthwhile – even without a festival date.
The 2026 Landpartie opens Liebenberg's Summer of Culture program with two days of music and art in the castle park. Several stages are spread across the 600-hectare grounds, with open-air concerts alternating with art exhibitions in the stables and the manor house.
Workshops for children and adults, culinary stands with regional products, and guided tours of the park complement the stage program. The organizer is the DKB Foundation for social engagement.
A week later (Sat, June 21, 2026), the Fête de la Musique will take place on the manor estate as part of the Summer of Culture program.
Kick-off of the Liebenberg Summer of Culture, concerts in the castle park, art exhibitions, following Fête de la Musique.
