Kressbronn Lakeside Wine Festival — Wine Directly on the Shores of Lake Constance

On July 24 and 25, 2026, the Seegarten in Kressbronn am Bodensee will transform into a two-day lakeside wine festival. The event is organized by the Friends of the Narrenverein Griesebigger e.V. association, which hosts the event together with the Kressbronn Music Association. The venue is the festival meadow located directly on the lakeshore — just a few meters from the water, with a view of Lake Constance.

The festival kicks off on Friday evening with wine service from local vintners from Kressbronn and the western Lake Constance region. The Kressbronn Music Association will provide the musical entertainment with brass music and lively summer melodies. Food service continues late into the evening.

Saturday, July 25, 2026

The main festival day with an expanded program: wine service, live music, and dancing in the evening. The culinary offerings include:

• Dinnete — the Swabian version of Flammkuchen
• Gyros — the Greek classic, also popular on Lake Constance
• Fish — Lake Constance classics like whitefish and trout
• Mediterranean appetizer platters with olives, antipasti, and cheese
• Waffles and sweet specialties

Lake Constance Wines — Directly from the Shore

The Lake Constance wines come from the northern and northeastern shores of Lake Constance — one of the northernmost wine-growing regions in Germany. Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris are among the most important grape varieties. The mild Lake Constance climate on the steep slopes around Meersburg, Hagnau, Immenstaad, and Kressbronn provides ideal conditions. The Kressbronn vintners, who shape the festival with their wines, represent authentic regional tradition.

Kressbronn am Bodensee — West Allgäu Meets Lakeside

With around 9,000 inhabitants, Kressbronn am Bodensee is located in the Bodenseekreis district, directly on the northeastern shore of Lake Constance between Friedrichshafen and Lindau. The town is known for its Lake Constance shipyards, its yacht harbor, and its paddle steamer Hohentwiel, which operates from Kressbronn. Its location at the transition between Lake Constance and the West Allgäu region makes it an attractive starting point for hikes around Lake Constance and mountain tours.

Friends of the Narrenverein Griesebigger Association

The organizer — the Friends of the Narrenverein Griesebigger e.V. association — is deeply rooted in Kressbronn's club life. The Griesebigger is Kressbronn's central carnival figure; the Friends association supports the Narrenverein through events like the Lakeside Wine Festival and carnival events.
