The Showcase of Brandenburg's Young Talent in Sports

In 2026, the 15th edition will run from June 26 to 28. Further Disciplines

In the Brandenburg city area, events include: Boxing, Judo, Athletics, Sumo, Swimming, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Handball, Table Tennis, Chess, Archery, Gymnastics, and Dance Sports. Admission to all events is free — the games are designed so that families, school classes, and sports enthusiasts can attend as spectators.

More Than Just a Competition

LSB President Karl-Heinz Hegenbart states the objective: “The games are far more than just a competition. They are also a meeting place and a special showcase for the excellent youth work in our clubs.” Indeed, many clubs use the games to scout for talent and bring together junior teams — not just athletically, but also socially: shared overnight stays, an opening ceremony, and award ceremonies on June 27 from 12 PM to 2 PM under the patronage of Mayor Daniel Keip.

Brandenburg an der Havel — Sports City in the West

With its Beetzsee Regatta Course, Brandenburg an der Havel has been a national center for water sports for decades — the course is built to international standards and has hosted several world and European championships. With the Youth Sports Games, Olympic youth sports take center stage in the third-largest city of the state of Brandenburg.
