JECKOMIO 2026 — Program
The second edition of JECKOMIO on September 12, 2026, promises a packed program of three main acts and a DJ set. Kasalla, with their anniversary tour "Trone & Konfetti" and new album, brings the Kölsch main course — one of the most famous bands in the Kölsch music scene.
Druckluft comes as the second main act with their brass-pop band — pop, rock, and Schlager with brass power, perfect for dancing. The Peter Hoebertz Band opens or closes the program as a regionally rooted singer-songwriter contribution from the Lower Rhine. DJ Lukas plays between sets and at the end.

JECKOMIO — The Idea
JECKOMIO brings an essentially winter phenomenon — the Kölsche Carnival Party — into the late summer September on the Lower Rhine. "Jeck" is the Kölsch word for "crazy"/"foolish"; "Mio" refers to the organizer Peter Hoebertz and his band — and together they create a wordplay that is the program: Kölsch tunes with a wide range, dancing, and atmosphere — but in September, not in February. The first edition took place in Grefrath in 2025 and established the format.
Grefrather EisSport & EventPark — The Unusual Stage
The venue is the Grefrather EisSport & EventPark at Stadionstraße 161 — one of the best-known ice stadiums on the Lower Rhine, which serves as an ice rink year-round and becomes a high-quality indoor event space in summer by retracting the ice surface. Grefrath is a small municipality in the Viersen district (North Rhine-Westphalia) with just under 16,000 inhabitants — the arena is known beyond regional ice hockey home games of the DEB.
Kasalla — The Headliner with a Reason
Kasalla are one of the most famous Kölsch bands of the present day — founded in 2011, with numerous hits in the Kölsch-language charts. In 2026, they celebrate their own anniversary and are touring with their "Trone & Konfetti" tour — a new album and top performances. JECKOMIO is one of the tour stops and thus a major event for Kölsch fans on the Lower Rhine who don't have to travel to Cologne city.
Druckluft — Brass Power
Druckluft is a German brass-pop band that arranges modern pop, rock, and party hits with brass power to create a Carnival festival atmosphere. They combine modern pop- Schlager with brass band energy — perfect for dancing. At JECKOMIO, they are the second main act and will provide the non-Kölsch party band segment.
Peter Hoebertz Band
Peter Hoebertz is the organizer and also a musical participant — a singer-songwriter from Krefeld-Hüls, who performs with his own band and forms a cozy Lower Rhine counterpart to the big Cologne bands. His band will likely open the evening or play in the middle segment.
DJ Lukas and VIP Packages
Between the live sets, DJ Lukas takes over. In addition to standard tickets, there are VIP packages with a separate entrance, private party area, and catering — a premium option for groups or affluent audiences.
Location and Travel
Grefrath is located on the Lower Rhine, in the Viersen district — west of Krefeld, east of the Dutch border. By public transport: Bus line SB 90 or Regio-Bus from Krefeld Hbf or Kempen Hbf to "Eisstadion". By car: A 40 exit Krefeld-Oppum, then towards Grefrath. Parking at Grefrather EisSport & EventPark. Krefeld can be reached by regional train from Düsseldorf in approx. 30 minutes.
