Double Hoffest Weingut Wasem Doppelstück and Lena & Sebastian by Weingut Baum as part of the Ingelheim Wine Festivals 2026
Ingelheim am Rhein has borne the epithet Red Wine City for generations. As part of the Ingelheim Wine Festivals 2026, several wineries will open their gates in parallel over the second weekend in June: Weingut Wasem Doppelstück from June 11th to 13th and Weingut Baum with the younger format 'Lena & Sebastian' from June 12th to 14th. Visitors can stroll from one courtyard to the next and discover the different styles of the two family wineries.
Weingut Wasem Doppelstück represents classic Ingelheim courtyard culture: traditional courtyard, courtyard trees, beer benches, Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder, Riesling, and Cuvées from Ingelheim's vineyards. Weingut Baum with the 'Lena & Sebastian' format focuses on a younger generation – modern vinification, fresh concepts, new Cuvées, and a contemporary presentation that combines traditional wine craftsmanship with a modern atmosphere.
The current vintage wines will be served in both courtyards: Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Rosé, and sparkling wine. The wines are served in tasting glasses, and a wine token system facilitates payment. The wine families are available to guests for questions, recommendations, and discussions.
The culinary offerings include typical Rhenish-Hessian dishes: Spundekäs (cheese spread), Handkäs mit Musik (cheese with onions and vinaigrette), bratwurst, steaks, tarte flambée, cheese platters, homemade salads, and, depending on the courtyard, special delicacies. Both courtyards will feature beer benches under the open sky and seating in the inner courtyards, with fairy lights and live music creating the right atmosphere in the evening.
Sociability is the centerpiece. Guests sit at communal tables, strike up conversations, meet the wine families, and get to know the wines firsthand. The double festival of Wasem Doppelstück and Baum is part of a series of Ingelheim Wine Festivals that take place over several weekends from May to August.
The 2026 edition follows the proven concept of the Ingelheim Hofeste – with the added value of a double program: two courtyards, two generations, two styles, one city. Visitors can stroll from one courtyard to the next and discover the different personalities of the Ingelheim wineries.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the two wineries in good time. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years.
