Profile
With its Festwiese (festival meadow) and Parkbühne (park stage), IGA Park Rostock is by far the largest open-air concert arena north of Berlin. On the 100-hectare site on the Warnow riverbank in Rostock-Schmarl, around 40 concerts take place annually between mid-June and mid-September – from Schlager to Punk, from family concerts to festival weekends.
Programming
Promoters such as Dreamhaus, Landstreicher Konzerte, or PRK Dreamhaus book headliners from all genres: Sarah Connor, Roland Kaiser, David Garrett, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Marteria, Broilers, SDP, AnnenMayKantereit, Versengold, and Dritte Wahl are among the lineup for 2026. In addition, the Festwiese features major Schlager events (Mega Mallorca Live, Mega 90er Live), family concerts (Deine Freunde), festivals (Baltic Spirit, Comic Park), and medieval spectacles.
Local Context
The Festwiese is located in IGA Park Schmarl directly on the Warnow riverbank; the smaller Parkbühne complements the area for more intimate formats. During concert days, the park remains freely accessible, with only the concert areas cordoned off for ticket holders. For arrival, promoters recommend using buses, the S-Bahn (lines S1/S2 to Lütten Klein), and shuttles, as the entire area is car-reduced.
