Marteria kicks off his 2026 Arena Tour with an open-air concert in his hometown
Marten Laciny, better known as Marteria (and in his alter ego as Marsimoto), is one of the most influential voices in German hip-hop. The fact that the Rostock native is starting his major 2026 arena tour in his hometown is more than just a footnote in the tour schedule — it's a deliberate home game. On August 14, 2026, he will play an open-air concert at the Parkbühne in Rostock's IGA Park, long before the tour moves through the country's major arenas starting in October.
The tour is in celebration of the new album »Zum Glück in die Zukunft III«, the third part of a series that has been a constant thread throughout Marteria's career. The first single, »Babylonia«, was released in September 2025 and revolves around the feeling of constant sensory overload and the longing for belonging — themes the artist repeatedly explores in his lyrics. The full album is announced for spring 2026.
The Parkbühne in IGA Park is located on the Stadtweide on the banks of the Warnow river and is Rostock's premier open-air concert venue. Instead of an enclosed hall, you'll experience Marteria here under the open sky, with views of the water and shipyard scenery — a backdrop that fits the maritime identity of the rapper, who has never denied his connection to the Baltic Sea city.
The Rostock concert is also a statement: Marteria announced that he will donate a significant portion of his fee — around 100,000 Euros — to social projects in Rostock. Beneficiaries will include facilities that urgently need the funds, such as youth clubs and sports associations in the city. This turns the home game into a concert that will have a lasting impact on the city beyond the evening itself.
Anyone who has experienced Marteria live knows: his shows are energetic, visually elaborate, and deeply connected to his biography. A home game in Rostock promises a special intensity — when lyrics about the city are performed where they originated.
With the concert on August 14, 2026, Marteria officially opens his »Zum Glück in die Zukunft Tour 2026«. While the subsequent arena tour runs from mid-October through Münster, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt, and Hanover, the kick-off is deliberately held as an open-air event in his hometown. The occasion is the new album »Zum Glück in die Zukunft III«, whose first single »Babylonia« was released in September 2025.
The full setlist and any supporting acts will be announced by the organizer PRK DreamHaus closer to the tour. The first single for the tour is »Babylonia« (September 2025).
Tickets starting from around 77 Euros via Eventim. Also available via the organizer's platform PRK DreamHaus.
IGA Park Rostock is located in the Schmarl-Dorf district, Schmarl-Dorf 40. Take the S-Bahn to Lütten Klein or Lichtenhagen station, then continue by bus. Car parking is available at the park, but is limited on concert days — public transport is recommended.
Tickets are available via Eventim and the organizer's platform PRK DreamHaus. Admission and start on the evening of August 14, 2026.
As this is an open-air concert, please bring weather-appropriate clothing.
