The Hofener Sommerfest is a fixture in the event calendar of Stuttgart's north. The organizer is the Musikverein Stuttgart-Hofen 1905 e.V., one of the most traditional brass music associations in the state capital. For four days, the festival grounds at the Hofener Bridge on Mühlhäuser Straße 371 become a convivial meeting point for musicians, families, and strollers along the Neckar (Mühlhausen district, Stuttgart-Hofen, Baden-Württemberg).

Over the four festival days – traditionally from Corpus Christi (Thursday) to Sunday – various brass orchestras, youth bands, and party bands perform on the festival stage. Highlights:

Just a few minutes' walk from the Max-Eyth-See – a popular local recreation area in northern Stuttgart – the festival grounds at the Hofener Bridge serve as a natural resting place for walkers and cyclists on the Neckar Valley cycle paths. Many guests combine their visit to the festival with a tour along the river or a boat trip on the lake.
