Hedelfingen/Rohracker Neighborhood Festival — The Festival of the Upper Neckar Suburbs

The Hedelfingen/Rohracker Neighborhood Festival is the joint summer festival of the two Stuttgart suburbs Hedelfingen and Rohracker, which together form the Hedelfingen district. The festival is organized by the district with local sponsors such as the Förderverein Alte Schule Rohracker (Friends of the Old School Rohracker Association), the citizens' association, church communities, and schools. The venue is the Festwiese Hedelfingen (Hedelfingen Festival Meadow) — the central meadow area between the residential areas, used as a festival site for such occasions.

The neighborhood festival follows the proven format of the Stuttgart Neckar suburbs: Sports, music, and cultural clubs, as well as church communities, schools, and citizens' initiatives provide catering at club stands. This activity is part of the City Library's "Playing in the Library" program (PHD branch, Stuttgart-Hedelfingen) and makes the neighborhood festival particularly attractive for families with children and teenagers.
