From June 17th to 21st, 2026, the Happy Salsa Festival invites you to Kühlungsborn for the third time. For five days, the focus will be on workshops with international salsa dancers and choreographers, live concerts, and dance events. A special highlight is the performance by Soneros de Verdad — the second generation of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club — at the pier and in the concert garden. Many program items are free of charge, allowing locals and holiday guests to join the celebration.

The Happy Salsa Festival is one of the most recent successful festivals on the Mecklenburg Baltic coast. In just three editions, it has established itself as a fixture in the German salsa scene. The concept: a participatory festival for the whole family, with workshops for all levels, open-air live concerts, and an atmosphere that transforms the Baltic Sea resort into a summery dance city.
