Happy Birthday, Spatz! — 1050 Years Regensburg Cathedral Choir Anniversary Gala

The anniversary gala "Happy Birthday, Spatz!" is the highlight of the 1050th anniversary year of the Regensburg Cathedral Choir and takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in the Audimax of the University of Regensburg.

All choirs of the Cathedral Choir perform together with guests, offering an honest, unvarnished look at what makes the choir strong at its core — with music and surprising moments. The following day, July 6, Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer will celebrate a Pontifical Mass in St. Peter's Cathedral with all four concert choirs, which also commemorates 1700 years of the Nicene Creed and 500 years of Palestrina.
