Four Days of Village Festival in Glonn

The Glonner Dorffest is one of the major summer community festivals in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg. The organizer is the Glonner Dorffestverein e.V., which organizes the festival with numerous local clubs. It is traditionally celebrated from Friday to Monday around the beginning of the Bavarian summer holidays.

Meeting Point at the Festival Grounds

On the festival grounds on Geschwister-Scholl-Straße, the village community comes together with its guests: there is celebrating, laughing, and dancing – with live music, cool drinks, hearty festival food, and a good atmosphere. A culinary classic is the traditional Kesselfleischessen (kettle meat meal).

Club Life and Participation

Many local clubs participate in the Glonner Dorffest. For example, the Kolpingsfamilie Glonn runs its own pavilion every year and helps with setup and dismantling. Setup and dismantling extend over several days and are a communal feat of strength for the entire village.
