Kinder Kultur Bewegung – KiTa Festival

Premiere for a new children's format

With Kinder Kultur Bewegung, Haus der Jugend Osnabrück is establishing a new festival format in 2026 specifically for daycare centers and young families. The first edition opens its doors on April 9, 2026, at 3:00 PM, bringing several well-known children's music acts to a common stage. The festival's goal is to make early childhood cultural education visible and to offer KiTa groups a special event day.

Music, Movement, and Diversity

The program is based on the triad of Music – Movement – Diversity. Children will experience rousing songs, learn simple choreographies, and be invited to participate actively. Cultural diversity is reflected in the selection of songs and languages, incorporating the diverse cultural backgrounds of the children.

Stage Acts

With KrAWAllo, Nini mit dem Hut, and a festival band specially assembled for the event, experienced children's culture performers will take the stage. KrAWAllo is one of the region's prominent children's music bands, and Nini mit dem Hut has made a name for itself with interactive programs.

Target Audience and Admission

The festival is aimed at children up to grade 1 and their companions (educators, childminders, parents, grandparents). Admission is free for KiTa children and their companions. Registration and further information are available through Haus der Jugend.
