Three days, three genres — Rock, Pop, Electronic in the Stadthalle Bielefeld
Looking for festival atmosphere without the camping, without the risk of open-air weather, but with genre diversity? Bielefeld is launching a new concept from October 2026: The Festival Dome brings three festival evenings with three completely different genres to the exhibition hall of the Stadthalle Bielefeld — the largest indoor venue in East Westphalia. Premiere edition from October 9th to 11th, 2026.
Instead of limiting a festival to a single genre, the Festival Dome deliberately goes broad. Each of the three festival days has its own musical focus:
The venue is the exhibition hall of the Stadthalle Bielefeld — the city's largest indoor event space, usually used for trade fairs, sports events, and large concerts. For the Festival Dome, the hall will be converted in a festival style — main stage, secondary stage, bars around the hall, catering, and lounges. Capacity of around 3,000 to 5,000 seats depending on configuration.
Stahlzeit is arguably Europe's most elaborate Rammstein tribute band — with a pyrotechnic show, authentic stage design, and live energy refined over years of touring. Those who haven't seen the original (Rammstein themselves) live will get close with Stahlzeit — the show is visually and acoustically almost complete.
Saturday evening is explicitly the German Pop day. Gregor Meyle, born in Bielefeld and nationally known from the Sing-Meinen-Song format, plays in his hometown mode with his band. Alin Coen brings her intimate, lyrical singer-songwriter style.
Sunday shifts the festival from concert mode to club mode. Avaion delivers indie electronic with numerous chart hits, the Austrian DJ duo Harris & Ford brings Hardstyle, EDM, and Psychedelic Trance energy. Luca-Dante Spadafora completes the lineup with melodic Trance House.
Bielefeld is an independent city in the administrative district of Detmold, North Rhine-Westphalia, with around 335,000 inhabitants, making it the largest city in East Westphalia. The Stadthalle Bielefeld is centrally located, about 120 meters from the main train station — one of the best-connected large event venues in Germany.
The premiere edition of the Festival Dome Bielefeld brings three completely different festival evenings to the Stadthalle Bielefeld exhibition hall from October 9th to 11th, 2026. The concept deliberately focuses on genre diversity: Hard Rock on Friday, German Pop on Saturday, Electronic on Sunday.
Tickets are available as day tickets (€35–€45) or as a festival pass for all three days (approx. €90). Sales via Eventim, Reservix, Pretix, and the Bielefeld Tourist Information. The hall can accommodate between 3,000 and 5,000 visitors depending on the configuration.
By train to Bielefeld Hauptbahnhof, then a 2-minute walk to the Stadthalle (Herbert-Hinnendahl-Straße, approx. 120 m). By car via the A2 (exit Bielefeld-Zentrum). Parking garage at the main train station.
Day tickets from approx. €35 (Friday, Sunday) and €45 (Saturday) — depending on the end of advance sales. Festival pass for all three days approx. €90. Available via Eventim, Reservix, Pretix, and Tourist-Information Bielefeld.
