Overview
The Festival Dome Bielefeld 2026 is the premiere edition of the format. There was no preceding event — the concept was newly developed in 2026 by Bielefeld Marketing and Stadthalle Bielefeld.
The "Festival Dome" format was newly developed in 2025/26 by Bielefeld Marketing GmbH together with Stadthalle Bielefeld. The goal was to give the city an indoor festival format that utilizes the size of the exhibition hall and focuses on three different genres over three days.
The edition noted here for 2025 is therefore not an event that has taken place — the premiere will be in 2026. A second edition in 2027 is planned if successful.
