Schwarzenreuth is a small village in the transitional area between the Fichtelgebirge and the Oberpfälzer Wald, jointly administered between the municipalities of Ebnath and Neusorg in the Neusorg administrative district, Tirschenreuth district. Every year, the Kapellenverein Schwarzenreuth (Chapel Association) hosts its village Kirwa (church fair) around the village chapel – a typical Upper Palatinate weekend festival, driven by the commitment of the village community. The Dorf-Kirwa Schwarzenreuth 2026 will be celebrated on the weekend of June 6 and 7. Saturday 7:00 PM — 12:00 AM, Sunday 2:00 PM — 12:00 AM. The venue is the area around the Schwarzenreuth chapel, organized by the Kapellenverein Schwarzenreuth. Free admission.

Getting there

Via the A 9 (exit Bad Berneck/Himmelkron, approx. 35 km) and the B 303. Train travel to Marktredwitz or Wiesau, then by bus or taxi. Parking available in Schwarzenreuth directly at the festival grounds.
