Craft Beer Meets Coastal Cuisine — A Curated Tasting

«Coast Meets Craft Beer» is not a classic beer festival, but a carefully curated tasting event. At the Landgang restaurant of the Lighthouse Hotel & Spa — a stylish hotel directly on Büsum's museum harbour — ten craft beers are presented, each paired with a suitable starter from North German cuisine.

Marco Stock — Beer Sommelier in Focus

The evening is hosted by Marco Stock, a certified beer sommelier. For each beer, he explains the brewery, the brewing process, the flavour components, and the specific pairing with the served dish. This is beer enjoyment on the same level as a professional wine tasting — and underscores the status that craft beer has achieved in North German gastronomy in recent years.

What Happens in the Tasting

• 10 Craft Beers from various breweries — styles ranging from IPA and Stout to specialized beers with a coastal connection
• Starters from the restaurant kitchen — matched to each beer
• Commentary by Marco Stock on the selection, breweries, and pairings
• 5:30 PM — 8:00 PM — two and a half hours of tasting experience
