A Town of Seven Districts Celebrates
Taunusstein is a comparatively young town: in 1971, it was formed from the merger of several independent municipalities in the southern Taunus, including Bleidenstadt, Hahn, Wehen, Niederlibbach, Hambach, Watzhahn, Neuhof, and Orlen. It is precisely this mosaic of districts with their own history and clubs that the Bürgerfest celebrates – as a common platform for all clubs of the entire town.
Three Areas, One Concept
The festival extends over three interconnected areas at the entrance to TSV Bleidenstadt: The promenade along Konrad-Adenauer-Straße hosts the district club market with food and specialty stands. The company grounds at the end of the street features the main stage with shows, dance, and music contributions from Taunusstein and the surrounding area. The adjacent sports field houses the Kids & Youth Area with an action-packed program.
Action for Children and Youth
Highlights of the Kids Area include an 85m long gladiator course, a street soccer field, a climbing wall, and the Adventure Land of the Senses. For the little ones, there are bouncy castles of various sizes and a dwarf land. This clearly positions the Bürgerfest as a family festival that runs parallel to the adult entertainment.
Kick-Off Night on Saturday
A special feature: On Saturday evening, the HighRoot Stage takes over with a Kick-Off Night – electronic summer sounds with local DJs (including Fernando). This gives the Bürgerfest a younger, urban focus alongside the classic family format, distinguishing it in the region.
Family Day on Sunday
Sunday is themed "Family & Fun": the club market, show program, and Kids Area are fully operational, and the festival concludes in a relaxed atmosphere.
