Bargenstedt and Sarzbüttel in the Dithmarschen District

Bargenstedt is a small community in the Dithmarschen district (Schleswig-Holstein) with around 1,300 inhabitants, located in the Amt Mitteldithmarschen. The neighboring community of Sarzbüttel is even smaller with around 600 inhabitants. Both communities share the landscape of the Dithmarscher Geest and are connected by a small bridge over the Kratt – a watercourse.
