Overview
In July 2025, Bargenstedt and Sarzbüttel again celebrated their joint Brückenfest at the bridge over the Kratt. With a duck race, catering, and a rural village atmosphere, the event once again offered a relaxed summer evening for the village communities of both municipalities.
The Brückenfest 2025 took place, as every year, in July at the bridge over the Kratt between Bargenstedt and Sarzbüttel. Both communities – totaling around 2,000 inhabitants – gathered for the traditional duck race, catering by local clubs, and a convivial summer evening. A format that shows how small communities in the Amt Mitteldithmarschen maintain their neighborly relations while offering an attractive summer festival.
