Garden and Wellness Fair in the Kurpark for Mother's Day Weekend with over 80 exhibitors
The Garden and Wellness Festival utilizes the spacious Kurpark Bad Salzdetfurth in its entirety as an exhibition area. Unlike in enclosed halls, an outdoor atmosphere is created here, where plants, garden furniture, and accessories are presented in a realistic environment. Trees, lawns, and the historic graduation towers give the festival a unique character.
The exhibitors come from all over Germany and cover a wide spectrum: perennial and tree nurseries, specialists for Mediterranean plants, garden centers for tomato varieties and old vegetable varieties, exhibitors for outdoor furniture, pergolas, planters, and water features. In addition, there are vendors of jewelry, fashion, ceramics, wellness products, natural cosmetics, and tea. A dedicated area is regularly devoted to the theme of outdoor kitchens and grilling.
The festival weekend traditionally falls on Mother's Day, which shapes the character of the event: families visit the festival together, gifts are purchased at the stands, and the gastronomic offerings, from café areas to food trucks to ice cream and cake, allow for extended stays. Many exhibitors offer special promotions for Mother's Day weekend.
The wellness pillar of the festival includes providers of natural cosmetics, essential oils, feel-good products for bath and sauna, massage accessories, and yoga equipment. Demonstrations, small workshops, and consultations complement the offerings. The Kurpark with its graduation towers perfectly matches the theme: brine therapy applications, the microclimate of the graduation towers, and the recreational aspect of the spa town combine with the wellness focus.
Despite the high number of exhibitors, the Garden and Wellness Festival is free to enter. This results in it reaching a broad audience, attracting not only garden enthusiasts but also weekend trippers from the entire region.
The 2026 edition builds on the proven mix of plant and outdoor specialists, wellness and craft vendors. In the plant sector, perennials, rare tomatoes and vegetables, Mediterranean varieties, and specialties like peonies, lavender, and rare shrubs will be offered.
In the wellness area, demonstrations and small workshops will deepen the offerings, from the application of essential oils to sauna infusions and yoga sequences in the park.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
