Volksfest on Bramfeld Market Square
For generations, Bramfeld Market Square has been the center of Bramfeld's club and business life — and the venue for traditional folk markets several times a year. The spring market opens the season in April: with the first warm days, rides, carousels, shooting galleries, and food stalls return to the district.
Unlike the large Hamburg folk festivals like the DOM, the Bramfelder Frühjahrsmarkt is manageable, family-friendly, and above all a meeting place for local residents. The market attracts visitors from the entire Wandsbek district and the neighboring districts of Steilshoop and Wellingsbüttel.
Bramfeld is located in the north of Hamburg, in the Wandsbek district — the most populous district of the Hanseatic city. The market square is car-free and easily accessible by bus or subway. The markets are an important anchor, especially in view of the ongoing construction work around Bramfeld's village center.
The Bramfelder Frühjahrsmarkt 2026 runs for three days: Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM each, Sunday from 2:00 PM–9:00 PM.
Dates and any program changes will be announced by the Wandsbek district office.
