Neighbourhood Festival with Tradition

The Bramfelder Stadtteilfest has been Hamburg's largest neighbourhood festival in the northeastern Wandsbek district for over three decades. In 2026, the 35th edition will take place on the Bramfeld Market Square directly on Bramfelder Chaussee. It is supported by the Marktplatz Galerie and the community cultural centre Brakula e.V.; the programme combines local associations, Bramfeld schools, Hamburg cultural creators, and market square residents.

Two Stages, School Band Contest, Fireworks

Over the weekend, two stages with different profiles will be running: a main stage with live bands and guest appearances from Brakula, and a second stage with the popular School Band Contest, where Bramfeld school bands compete against each other. A family area with play activities and a neighbourhood rally appeals to younger target groups; on Saturday evening, the traditional fireworks display will take place over the market square.
