Auf der Ziegenwiese — Bardentreffen Ansbach

The 2026 edition of "Auf der Ziegenwiese" will take place as traditionally in July — this time from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12, 2026. The main stage is outdoors, table and bench rows create a beer garden atmosphere.

As of Spring 2026, the specific bands for the individual days have not yet been announced. The daily theme "Italian Night" on Thursday is set, as are the children's festival and Kirchweih on Saturday. The complete lineup will be announced shortly before the festival on the Ansbach Tourism Office website.

Thursday, July 9, 2026 — Italian Night

• 6:00 PM–11:00 PM — Live music in Italian style
• Pasta, pizza, and wine stands
• Family-friendly open-air atmosphere in the beer garden

Friday, July 10, 2026 — Concert Night

• 6:00 PM–11:00 PM — Concerts from rock, pop, jazz, or singer-songwriter
• Bands to be announced by the organizer

Saturday, July 11, 2026 — Children's Festival and Kirchweih

• 10:00 AM–5:00 PM — Children's festival with games, animation, hands-on activities
• 11:00 AM–11:00 PM — Kirchweih in beer garden atmosphere, live music in the evening

Sunday, July 12, 2026 — Family Sunday

• 10:00 AM–8:00 PM — relaxed conclusion with music, snacks, and family program

Getting There

Ansbach is located in the heart of Middle Franconia, about 40 km southwest of Nuremberg. ICE/IC stop at Ansbach station (Stuttgart–Nuremberg line), arrival by car via A6 and B14. The Ziegenwiese is located at Schaitberger Straße 38, within walking distance of the city center.

Admission

Free admission. Food and drinks at the stalls at festival meadow prices.

Opening Hours 2026

Thursday and Friday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM each; Saturday Children's Festival from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Kirchweih from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM; Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
