Europe's Largest Off-Road Trade Fair

Abenteuer & Allrad has evolved over the past decades from a small all-wheel-drive exhibition into Europe's most important trade fair for off-road, caravaning, and overlanding. The venue is the Saalewiesen in Bad Kissingen (Bad Kissingen district, Lower Franconia, Bavaria), where over 400 exhibitors showcase their products and concepts on an area of more than 110,000 square meters annually.

Exhibitor Program

The most important players in the international off-road and overlanding scene are represented at the trade fair: manufacturers of standard 4x4 vehicles, quads and ATVs, pick-ups, specialists for expedition and touring vehicles, accessory and spare parts suppliers, tent and camping outfitters, as well as providers of complex travel equipment. In recent years, sustainable drives and e-mobility have also come into focus. Toyota – the "classic" off-road brand of the scene – is also prominently represented with its own areas.

Test Track and Lecture Program

The heart of the event for many visitors is the 4x4 test track: here, off-road vehicles from various manufacturers can be test-driven under real conditions. The active program is complemented by a dedicated camp area where international globetrotters and overlanders camp with their expedition vehicles and share stories. Workshops, lectures, and a children's area round off the program.

Camp Area and Campfire Atmosphere

Those arriving with their own all-wheel-drive vehicle, motorhome, or trailer can check into the camp area from Wednesday afternoon. Prices range from 10 euros per night for trailers, 20 euros for motorcycles, up to 45 euros for vehicles over eight meters in length, plus the visitor's tax of the city of Bad Kissingen. Campfires, shared evenings, and chance encounters with travelers from all over the world – this is what makes the trade fair a festival for many.

Bad Kissingen as a UNESCO World Heritage City

As a historic spa town, Bad Kissingen has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Great Spa Towns of Europe" since 2021. The Saalewiesen with their meadows along the Franconian Saale river provide an extraordinary setting for the trade fair: nature, bathing, and hiking experiences can be ideally combined with a visit to the fair.
