Elegant prelude to the Bad Kissingen Rose Ball — Club night in the Kurgarten Café
For decades, the Bad Kissingen Rose Ball has been one of the social highlights of the Lower Franconian spa town summer. In the run-up, the Rosen-Clubnacht serves as a younger, more relaxed version — aimed at guests who prefer a modern club night in an elegant setting over a classic ball. Both events traditionally take place on consecutive days.
The venue is the Kurgarten Café, located directly in the Kurgarten of Bad Kissingen — one of Germany's most traditional spa towns. For the club night, the building in the historic spa park is transformed into a dance floor with a bar area; the backdrop of old spa town architecture and modern club staging gives the evening its special atmosphere.
Bad Kissingen elects a Rose Queen every two years — a young woman who represents the town's rose traditions during her term. The reigning Rose Queen Laura Pfülb (term 2025–2026) opens the club night and remains present throughout the evening. The rose tradition dates back to the importance of the rose as the botanical symbol of the Bad Kissingen spa park, where over 100 different rose varieties are cultivated.
Bad Kissingen is located in the district of Bad Kissingen in Lower Franconia, in the Rhön region. Since 2021, the town has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Great Spa Towns of Europe" as the "Great Spa Town of Europe". The spa park with its colonnade, the Wandelhalle, and the Regentenbau form the architectural center of a globally recognized spa ensemble.
The Rosen-Clubnacht 2026 is officially confirmed by Bad Kissingen Tourism. Event date: Friday, June 5th, 2026, from 9:00 PM. Venue: Kurgarten Café in the Bad Kissingen spa park.
The event is positioned as a modern prelude to the Rose Ball on Saturday and is particularly aimed at guests seeking a club night atmosphere in an elegant setting. The combination of a historic spa town backdrop and contemporary DJ music is the hallmark of this event series.
Tickets are available via the official booking platform at bad-kissingen.de.
Bad Kissingen train station is right in the center; about a 5-minute walk from the station to the spa park. By car, take the A 7 (exit Hammelburg) or A 71 (exit Bad Neustadt).
Tickets are available through the official booking system on bad-kissingen.de. An elegant dress code is recommended, but less formal than for the classic Rose Ball on the following day.
Bad Kissingen is a classic spa town with numerous hotels, guesthouses, and spa clinics in all price ranges — many in close proximity to the spa park.
