ABBA Tribute in the World's Largest Rose Garden

The Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen in the Mansfeld-Südharz district is the largest rose garden in the world, with around 8,300 varieties of roses. Over 12.5 hectares, it cultivates historical, modern, and wild roses in unparalleled botanical diversity. At its heart lies the ROSENARENA — an open-air concert arena that hosts pop, schlager, and tribute concerts during the summer.

On July 11, 2026, ABALANCE — The Show, one of Germany's longest-running ABBA tribute bands, will perform there. Founded in the 1990s, ABALANCE has since interpreted the hits of the Swedish pop legends on stages big and small: 'Dancing Queen', 'Mamma Mia', 'Waterloo', 'The Winner Takes It All', 'Money, Money, Money', and many more.

Sangerhausen and the Rosarium

Sangerhausen is a former mining and copper shale town in southern Saxony-Anhalt. In the 19th century, the local rose enthusiast society decided to establish the first German rose garden here — today, the Europa-Rosarium is a pilgrimage site for rose lovers from all over the world. In summer, the ROSENARENA stage opens for concerts, family events, and classical music evenings. The ABBA concert is part of a summer of events that combines open-air experiences with botanical beauty.
