150 Years of Lengdorf Fire Brigade
The Lengdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded in 1876 and is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2026. Lengdorf is a rural municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding, east of Munich. As everywhere in Bavaria, the Volunteer Fire Brigade is not only an emergency response organization but also a central pillar of village life – the anniversary will be celebrated accordingly.
Three Festival Days
The festival spans the weekend of May 9th to 11th, 2026. Saturday: District Fire Brigade Day with a beer and wine festival and a live concert by the Bavarian party band »Boazn Royal«. Sunday: Festival Day with a parade and procession, accompanied by the music bands from Isen and Kirchdorf, followed by festival activities in the marquee. Monday: Senior afternoon with coffee and cake, followed by a traditional Kesselfleischessen in the evening for a cozy end to the festival.

150 Years FFW Lengdorf — edition 2026
The Lengdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade is celebrating its 150th anniversary from May 9th to 11th, 2026. The venue for all events is the Menzinger-Stadel at Mühlanger 5 in Lengdorf.
Saturday, May 9th, 2026, begins with the District Fire Brigade Day of the Erding district (exercises, demonstrations, meeting of brigades), followed by a beer and wine festival and a live concert by the Bavarian party band »Boazn Royal«.
Sunday, May 10th, 2026, is the main festival day: festive church service with procession, followed by a parade through Lengdorf, accompanied by the music bands from Isen and Kirchdorf. Festival activities in the beer tent in the afternoon and evening.
Monday, May 11th, 2026, concludes the jubilee with a senior afternoon (coffee and cake) and an evening Kesselfleischessen – a traditional Bavarian end to the festival.
