Wieda Barbecue Area, Am Kreuztal, 37445 Walkenried OT Wieda. Arrive via the B243 and L601 to Wieda. Parking available in the village center of Wieda and at the Schützenhaus (marksmen's club).

Free admission. Food and drinks at the club stands benefit the club's funds.

Spring Festival at Wieda Barbecue Area
The Frühlingserwachen Wieda is a traditional village community festival held at the Wieda barbecue area, Am Kreuztal. The organizer is the Bürgergemeinschaft Pro Wieda e.V., which, as the most important civil society actor in the Wieda district, organizes a series of festivals and events throughout the year.
Barbecue Area as the Venue
The venue is the park-like barbecue area Am Kreuztal, which offers an ideal backdrop for a medium-sized village festival with its covered seating areas, a barbecue pit, a small stage area, and ample outdoor space. The rural location on the Wieda stream gives the event a relaxed, nature-oriented character.
