Two Days of Community Festival by the Lake

When the first notes from the stage echo across Suckowsee from 2 PM on Saturday, 11 July 2026, the annual community festival at Schifferhof begins in Flieth-Stegelitz. The format is a classic Uckermark village festival: two days of celebrating together, meeting neighbours, seeing former residents return, eating together, dancing, and sitting by the lake. The organiser is the municipality of Flieth-Stegelitz under the organisational umbrella of the Gerswalde office. Free admission.

The Schifferhof — Festival Grounds with Lake Access

What makes the community festival special is the festival grounds themselves: The Schifferhof is located directly on the shore of Suckowsee, a classic Brandenburg clear-water lake on the edge of the Schorfheide. The festival takes place here in the open air, with a stage, a marquee area, food stalls, and places to sit. Those who wish can go for a swim or take a walk along the shore. The lakeside location gives the festival its special atmosphere — not an urban city festival, but a village gathering in the middle of nature.

It starts on Saturday from 2 PM, and the festival day extends into the late evening. Typical for an Uckermark community festival are family activities in the early afternoon (games, bouncy castle, craft activities for children), followed by stage music in the afternoon — usually live bands from the region or a DJ —, a communal dinner from local food stalls, and a dance evening with live dance music or a DJ on Saturday evening.
