The 140th anniversary festival of the Sonderhofen Volunteer Fire Brigade takes place from Friday, 4 September, to Monday, 7 September 2026. Friday: Ceremonial beer tapping (8 PM) and Bavarian evening with 'Allgäu Feager' (from 8:30 PM). Saturday: Fire brigade parade (Wehreneinzug) (7 PM) with the Rodheimer Musikanten. Sunday: Morning pint (Frühschoppen) (10 AM), lunch (11 AM), grand procession (Festzug) (1:30 PM), party with XPLOUSHN. Monday (Family Day): Clown Melman (2 PM), workwear fashion show (4 PM), music (5 PM), evening procession (Festzug) (7 PM) with the Zeubelrieder Musikanten. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1886.

140 Years of the Volunteer Fire Brigade
The Sonderhofen Volunteer Fire Brigade was founded in 1886 and is celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2026 with a grand fire brigade festival.
