Stage for Young Talent

The Youth Gone Wild Live Festival is a concert series that offers a platform for young, up-and-coming bands from the Hof district and the surrounding region. In Münchberg, located in the Upper Franconian Hof district, the festival is held on the Pocksplatz on Luisenstraße. It is part of a series with several dates in the district and combines music promotion with youth work.

Young People Organize

What makes the concept special: A local team of young people and young adults is responsible for each concert location, selecting the bands for their stage. A coaching program supports the young bands on their way to bigger stages. This makes the festival not just a concert, but a participatory project for youth education.

Free Admission from Age 14

Three to four bands of all genres perform per concert, having applied via an online form beforehand. Admission is free, and the festival is aimed at visitors aged 14 and over. This deliberately lowers the barrier to the live music experience and makes music immediately tangible for young people.

Commitment and Support

The series is organized by the Municipal Youth Work of the Hof district in cooperation with youth centers, municipalities, and young people. The festival is supported by the Bavarian Alliance for Tolerance, Democracy, and Human Dignity – an indication of the project's social ambition in the Upper Franconian region.
