Hamburg's Run for Women

The REWE Women's Run is Hamburg's largest running event exclusively for women and girls. Once a year in June, the field starts at Gerhart-Hauptmann-Platz in Hamburg's Old Town – right in the city center between Mönckebergstraße and the Binnenalster.

Three Distances

• 5 km – Beginner distance
• 10 km – Main race
• Girl's Run 1 km – for girls, starts at 11:30 AM

The main race starts at 9:00 AM. The course leads through the city, along the Binnenalster, past Jungfernstieg and back over Ballindamm to the finish line.

An Event in Four German Cities

The Women's Run is part of a nationwide series held in Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt, and Hamburg. The Hamburg edition is considered the central date in the women's running calendar in the north. Mobile showers, a finish area at Ballindamm, and an expo area on Mönckebergstraße form the supporting program.

Hamburg-Mitte District

With start and finish in Hamburg's Old Town, the event is located in the Hamburg-Mitte district, within walking distance of the main train station and all subway and suburban train hubs in the city center. An event that combines sport, visibility, and the Hamburg cityscape.
