From June 12th to 14th, 2026, Düsseldorfer Straße in the center of Solingen-Ohligs will transform into a mile of wine and culinary delights. Regional and international vintners, culinary offerings, and live music will characterize the three-day wine festival. Free admission. On Sunday, Iman Rashay from "The Voice of Germany" will perform — a proven format of Bergisches Land's wine and district culture.

Getting There

Train: Solingen Hauptbahnhof (in Ohligs) is 200 m from Düsseldorfer Straße — direct ICE/RE connection from Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Wuppertal. By car: A3 exit Solingen, then direction Ohligs.

Tip

If you value authenticity in wine, take the time to speak with the vintners themselves — many are present at their stands. In midsummer, it gets crowded in the late afternoon — if you prefer it quieter, come on Sunday around lunchtime.

Wine Festival in Solingen-Ohligs — three days of wine and live music

The Winzerfest in Solingen-Ohligs is the annual wine event in the pedestrian zone of the district. From June 12th to 14th, 2026, regional wine merchants and international vintners will present their selection on Düsseldorfer Straße, the central business street of Ohligs. Free admission.

Vintners and Gastronomy

The exhibitor list includes regional and international vintners as well as restaurateurs from Solingen. Among others, the Bergischer Weinkeller, Weinkontor Debusmann, Jacques, and several local restaurants are participating — a deliberate mix of specialized wine retailers and gastronomy.

Solingen-Ohligs — A District with its Own Identity

Ohligs is one of the most independent districts of Solingen in the Bergisches Land (North Rhine-Westphalia). With its own train station, a continuous pedestrian zone, and an active advertising association, Ohligs has an urban life of its own that clearly differs from Solingen-Mitte. The wine festival is one of the identity-forming festivals of this district.

Solingen — The "City of Blades" in Bergisches Land

Solingen (around 160,000 inhabitants) is known worldwide as the "City of Blades" — knives, cutting tools, and cutlery from Solingen are considered a quality standard. In the city area, the district of Ohligs is located on the western edge, directly on the Cologne–Wuppertal railway line.
