Wine and Winemaker Festival Westend – WeinPfingsten
Family wineries, arts and crafts, and street food on Pentecost in Berlin-Westend
2026
About WeinPfingsten Westend
WeinPfingsten Westend — edition 2026
The 2026 edition is the Pentecost edition with a slight geographical shift: Due to the DFB Cup final on Pentecost Saturday at the Olympic Stadium, the festival moves to Bolivarallee, which runs parallel to Preußenallee and offers a similar Westend flair.
Family wineries from Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Franken, Mosel, and Italy present their wines at open stands. This is complemented by enchanting arts and crafts, street food, live music, and a program for families. The exact list of participating wineries and artists will be published by the organizer in spring 2026.

Westend – a bourgeois Berlin gem
Westend is a district in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, where Berlin shows its bourgeois-green side: Wilhelminian-era villa streets, small town squares, the Olympic Park within reach, Charlottenburg Palace three subway stops away. Preußenallee and the parallel Bolivarallee are wide, tree-lined avenues lined with cafés, galleries, and small shops that characterize the neighborhood. For years, the association Family & Friends e.V. has organized wine and neighborhood festivals here – the spring and autumn festivals ("Frühlingszauber" and "Herbstzauber") and the wine and winemaker festival on Pentecost.
Family wineries from all over Germany
The special thing about WeinPfingsten: It is not an anonymous wine market, but a gathering of small family wineries, often owner-managed. Participating in past editions: Weingut Hochthurn (Rheinhessen), Weingut Zehnthof Eller (specializing in histamine-free wines), Weingut Lother (Franken), Weingut Sommer (Pfalz), Familienweingut Holger Barth, Weingut & Brennerei KDM (Mosel), as well as other wineries from German wine regions and Italy. The winemakers themselves are at the stands – this provides advice and atmosphere that is different from a wine shop or supermarket.
More than wine: arts and crafts and street food
Alongside the wine stands, there are artisans – jewelry, fashion, ceramics, wood, textiles – and street food stalls, including typical Berlin vendors and small specialties from the wine regions (Spundekäs, Saumagen, Flammkuchen). Live music plays on a small stage – mostly in the style of singer-songwriters, small jazz ensembles, or regionally rooted folk music. A family program rounds off the festival.
Relocation 2026: from Preußenallee to Bolivarallee
In 2026, the festival is moving: Due to the DFB Cup final on Pentecost Saturday at the Olympic Stadium (with associated traffic closures), the wine and winemaker festival in 2026 will not take place on Preußenallee as in previous years, but on the parallel Bolivarallee – just a few hundred meters away, with a similarly tree-lined character. Family & Friends e.V. worked closely with the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office for this.
