About Echelon Festival

The Echelon Festival is one of Bavaria's largest electronic festivals, held every summer on the grounds of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling, Rosenheim district. Once a year, the gates open to the legendary »Forbidden Grounds« – a futuristic area right next to the iconic radomes of the former Echelon listening station, against the impressive backdrop of the Alps. Over two days, more than 100 national and international artists perform on multiple stages, featuring Techno, Trance, Hardstyle, and House. Headliners like Vini Vici, Monika Kruse, I Hate Models, Space 92, or Deborah De Luca make Echelon a must-attend event for the electronic music scene. A dedicated Symbiotikka stage, in cooperation with Berlin's KitKat Club, completes the lineup. Shuttle buses from Munich and Augsburg provide transportation.

Getting There

The former US barracks are located on Texasstraße in Bad Aibling, Rosenheim district. Shuttle buses run from Munich (Friday/Saturday) and Augsburg (Saturday). Travel by car via the A8 (Bad Aibling exit).

The Echelon Festival takes place on the grounds of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling – an otherwise closed-off area that is opened up for electronic music once a year. Right next to the highly visible radomes of the former Echelon listening station and against the backdrop of the Alps, a unique, futuristic festival atmosphere is created.
