Festival on the »Forbidden Grounds«
The Echelon Festival takes place on the grounds of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling – an otherwise closed-off area that is opened up for electronic music once a year. Right next to the highly visible radomes of the former Echelon listening station and against the backdrop of the Alps, a unique, futuristic festival atmosphere is created.
Over 100 Acts on Multiple Stages
Over two days, more than 100 national and international artists perform on multiple stages. The spectrum ranges from Techno to Trance and House to Hardstyle. A dedicated Symbiotikka stage, in cooperation with Berlin's KitKat Club, expands the program with a special club atmosphere.
Travel and Services
Shuttle buses from Munich (Friday and Saturday) and Augsburg (Saturday) are offered through a partner. An Ambassador program offers discounts and points that can be redeemed for VIP access or free tickets.
Echelon Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Echelon Festival spans two days, August 14 and 15, on the »Forbidden Grounds« of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling.
Over 100 artists will perform on multiple stages. Headliners include Vini Vici, VIZE, Space 92, Monika Kruse, and I Hate Models. A dedicated Symbiotikka stage, in cooperation with Berlin's KitKat Club, expands the lineup. Shuttle buses run from Munich and Augsburg.

Getting There
The former US barracks are located on Texasstraße in Bad Aibling, Rosenheim district. Shuttle buses run from Munich (Friday/Saturday) and Augsburg (Saturday). Travel by car via the A8 (Bad Aibling exit).
