Electronic festival in the former US barracks Bad Aibling
Electrifinity is one of the more unusual electronic festivals in Bavaria. It is held in the former US barracks in Bad Aibling, a 6.5-hectare site in the Rosenheim district, which was formerly used for military and intelligence purposes as »Bad Aibling Station« and is now a civilian event venue. The organizers explicitly position the festival as a counter-model to large-scale mainstream events: no VIP areas, no oversized main stage, no chart-focused bookings. Instead, electronic music is understood as culture and community, within a clear safe space concept.
The festival features two main stages with distinctly different sound worlds:
Top acts in 2026 are GPF, Neon Graveyard, and Part Time Killer, complemented by other renowned bookings such as Speedboys, SZG, and Wasted Penguinz.
Unlike many large open-airs, Electrifinity focuses on consistent sustainability measures: a reusable cup system throughout the entire site, bars and food stalls operating completely cashless, and strategically placed toilet facilities without long walks. This is also due to the location: the barracks area allows for a concentrated infrastructure, which would be difficult to achieve at field or meadow festivals.
Bad Aibling is ideally located between Munich and Salzburg – the main access route is via the A8 motorway. The festival grounds offer a view of the Alps, which is unusual for an otherwise urban electronic festival.
For the electronic scene in Southern Germany, Electrifinity is one of the most important multi-day festivals alongside major events like Sea You on Lake Constance or Time Warp Mannheim. With its anti-mainstream profile, it has gained a loyal regular audience that explicitly appreciates the absence of pop bookings and excessive hierarchization.
The festival organizers confirm the date and program for 2026 on electrifinity.world and in festival calendars (festival-alarm.com, festivalsunited.com). The festival will take place from June 19th to 21st, 2026, utilizing the grounds of the former US barracks in Bad Aibling.
Programmatically, the festival remains true to its profile in 2026: two stages, diverse Hardtechno/Trance/Hardstyle sound, no pop bookings, no VIP rooms. Top bookings include GPF, Neon Graveyard, and Part Time Killer; the full lineup on both stages features numerous other renowned acts from the international Hard and Techno scene.
As in previous years, the site will operate with reusable cups, cashless payment, and a clear safe space concept.
Opening of the two stages in the late afternoon, festival operations until deep into the night.
Full operation on the Techno Stage and Harder Styles Stage; top bookings for this day: GPF, Neon Graveyard, Part Time Killer, complemented by numerous other acts.
Festival conclusion on both stages with the final sets of the announced artists.
Set times and stage allocations will be published in the weeks leading up to the festival on electrifinity.world and via the festival app.
