A Rock Institution in the Südeifel

The Rocknacht of DJK Irrel 09 e.V. has been a fixture in the Südeifel event calendar since the early 2000s. What began as a small club festival with local bands has developed into one of the most important hard rock events in the region. The event series combines club life with musical quality — the proceeds go entirely to the youth work and sports activities of the sports club.

Hole Full of Love — The Classic Returns

In 2026, the club is bringing the band Hole Full of Love to Irrel for the fourth time. The German tribute formation specializes in the classic AC/DC phase of the 1970s and is considered one of the most authentic Bon Scott-era tribute bands in Europe. Songs like Highway to Hell, T.N.T., Whole Lotta Rosie, and Let There Be Rock are performed with a raw, sweat-inducing stage presence that is guaranteed to get the audience moving.

Stage in the Neue Mitte Irrel

The Neue Mitte Irrel — a modern hall complex in the center of the Südeifel collective municipality — offers the ideal setting for concerts of this magnitude with its acoustics and capacity. Sound, lighting, and stage are professionally set up, ensuring the tribute performance is as close as possible to the legendary AC/DC concerts of the 70s.

Concert Evening with Club Flair

Despite professional technology, the Rocknacht remains a club festival with heart: club members serve at the bar, sausages, fries, and beer are offered at fair prices, and the atmosphere is familiar and friendly. Doors open around 8:30 PM, the concert starts at 9:30 PM, with an aftershow party late into the night.

Predecessors and Tradition

Previous Rocknächte have featured bands like Völkerball (Rammstein tribute) and other well-known cover and tribute bands. DJK Irrel 09 has thus earned a firm place in the rock scene of the greater region.
