Europe's largest cannabis trade fair with conference, festival and over 500 exhibitors
Launched in 2017 as a small niche event, Mary Jane Berlin has developed into Europe's largest cannabis trade fair in less than ten years. The turning point was the partial legalisation in Germany in 2024 — since then, industry giants, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, and insurers have been represented at the fair, as have vaporiser brands, grow equipment manufacturers, CBD cosmetics labels, and lifestyle exhibitors.
Mary Jane Berlin merges three formats across 50,000 m² of exhibition space at Messe Berlin: a Trade Show with over 500 exhibitors from around the world; a Conference with 90+ speakers from medicine, politics, science, and business; and a Festival with a main stage, German rap, DJ sets, a Ferris wheel, and a summer garden. This combination is unique in Europe.
Messe Berlin in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (district) is located directly next to the ICC and only one S-Bahn stop from Bahnhof Zoo — easily accessible from all over Germany and internationally. The city itself is a magnet: Berlin is considered the European capital of cannabis culture, with its own clubs (Cannabis Social Clubs), head shops, and a gastronomy scene close to the culture in Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, and Neukölln.
The 2026 edition is the tenth anniversary edition of Mary Jane Berlin. Over 75,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors from around the world are expected — record numbers for the fair and proof that the German cannabis industry is entering a new phase after the partial legalisation in 2024.
The venue is Messe Berlin (Entrance North, Hammarskjöldplatz, 14055 Berlin). Hall 1.2 is reserved for the conference, several other halls for exhibitors, and the outdoor summer garden for the festival with the main stage and Ferris wheel.
