On Thursday, May 14, 2026 — Ascension Day and Father's Day —, the traditional Obst-, Wein- und Gartenbauverein 1919 Odenheim e.V. organizes its annual wine festival on Ascension Day. The venue is the Weingut Adrian Zimmer at Nibelungenstraße 17 in Odenheim — a district of the northern Baden town of Östringen in the southern Karlsruhe district.

Weingut Adrian Zimmer is a young, ambitious family winery in Odenheim. Adrian Zimmer represents a modern interpretation of the northern Baden wine tradition — focusing on Burgundy grape varieties (Spätburgunder, Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder), Riesling, and regional identity. The inner courtyard of the winery on Nibelungenstraße provides the ideal festive backdrop: rustic, authentic, with a direct connection to the wine produced.

Obst-, Wein- und Gartenbauverein 1919 — Club Life for Over 100 Years

The organizer, the Obst-, Wein- und Gartenbauverein 1919 Odenheim, is one of the oldest clubs in the town. Founded in 1919, it is dedicated to the preservation of regional mixed orchards, viticulture, and garden culture. The annual wine festival on Ascension Day, along with the Harvest Festival (Erntedankfest) and the Must Tasting (Mostprobe), is one of the most important club events.
