Advent Market with a Community Spirit

The Nikolausmarkt Remagen is intentionally designed to be family-friendly. Instead of large corporate stalls, clubs, schools, church communities, and local institutions operate most of the stalls. This makes the market a kind of showcase of Remagen's community life – and at the same time a place where the city comes together during Advent.

Mulled Wine, Handicrafts, and Specialties

Classic Advent market offerings – mulled wine, eggnog, bratwurst, potato pancakes, candied almonds – are complemented by handicrafts and regional specialties from the Ahr-Mittelrhein region. The market stalls are located in the central pedestrian zone and can be explored at a leisurely pace on foot.

Gourmet Lounge on Saturday

A special feature of the event is the 'Genuss Lounge' (Gourmet Lounge), which remains open until 8 PM on Saturday, offering space for tastings, extended stays, and an elevated Advent atmosphere. Sunday is a bit quieter, open from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Shuttle between Bad Breisig, Sinzig, and Remagen

A joint shuttle service between Bad Breisig, Sinzig, and Remagen is available throughout the weekend, connecting the three Advent markets in the Rhein-Ahr region. This allows for a weekend visit to the Rhein-Ahr region to be combined with visits to multiple Advent markets – a service that highlights the regional cooperation of the three cities.
