During the market, the Speicher Café serves homemade cakes, coffee, tea, homemade soup, and mulled wine. The café area is a separate stop and invites you to warm up and take a break between floors. In cold weather, half of the market visitors often gather here.

Speicher Husum as a Cultural Center

Speicher Husum e.V. operates the cultural center year-round as a venue for concerts, readings, theater performances, film screenings, and exhibitions. The building — a historic harbor warehouse from the 19th century — was established as a cultural center in the 1980s and is now one of the most important venues for the independent cultural scene in North Frisia. The Christmas market in December is one of the most popular events in the annual program.
