Historic autumn Volksfest on the festival grounds at Conrad-Röntgen-Straße
The Weidener Volksfest looks back on a long history – founded in 1897, it is one of the most traditional Volksfests in the Upper Palatinate. It is held on the festival grounds at Conrad-Röntgen-Straße in Weiden.
During the festival, the grounds transform into a large amusement park with attractive rides, shooting galleries, and carousels. The centerpiece is the festival tent, where hearty traditional food and specially brewed festival beer are served.
Culinary delights await visitors, including Bavarian specialties ranging from pretzels to cheese and grilled fish on a stick to cotton candy. A colorful music program ensures a lively atmosphere and entertainment for all age groups throughout the festival days.
