Stadland Ahoi is the major harbour festival of the municipality of Stadland in the Wesermarsch district. The venue is the Sielhafen Absersiel — a traditional drainage harbour that historically served to drain the Wesermarsch hinterland and is now a popular excursion destination. The harbour festival embraces the maritime identity of the Wesermarsch and combines it with a lively culinary and musical festival atmosphere.

Every Two Years — 2026 is a Festival Year Again

Stadland Ahoi takes place on a two-year cycle. After the last edition in 2024, 2026 will be a festival year again: Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11 AM. The two-year cycle allows for more intensive programme planning and makes each edition a special event in the festival calendar.

Maritime and Culinary Mile

A maritime and culinary mile is set up on the harbour quay: Food stalls offering shrimp rolls, fish specialities, North German classics, and international dishes alternate with stalls selling maritime souvenirs, arts and crafts, and nautical accessories. Food trucks complement the offerings.

Boat Tours and Raft Races

Those who want to experience the Sielhafen from the water can take boat tours — short round trips that provide insights into the hydrological significance of the drainage system. A sporting highlight is the raft race, where homemade rafts compete on the harbour basin — a humorous competition that delights the audience on the quay.

Flea Market and Live Music

A flea market rounds off the market offerings. Live bands and choirs provide musical accompaniment on a stage — from shanty choir performances and cover bands to regional acoustic acts. The harbour festival is a meeting point for families, clubs, and guests from all over the Wesermarsch.

Admission is free. Food, drinks, and market goods are paid for on-site. The organiser is the municipality of Stadland.
