From November 26th to December 13th, 2026, the picturesque old town of Waiblingen, around the historic market square and town hall, will shine in the glow of the Christmas market. Illuminated half-timbered houses form the backdrop for around 50 decorated stalls with arts and crafts, regional specialties, and mulled wine. The central Christmas stage on the market square offers a daily changing program — musical surprises in the evening, a puppet theater under the arcades for children. In the Schlosskeller, ART-verwandt features contemporary crafts, and in the Camerabüro-Keller, an Advent calendar exhibition. Young City in Old Walls

Waiblingen, the administrative seat of the Rems-Murr district (AGS 08119) with around 56,000 inhabitants, calls itself a “Young City in Old Walls”.
