A True Wonfurt Tradition
The Vorstadtkirchweih Wonfurt is the annual house Kirchweih of TSV Wonfurt and is one of the fixed dates in the pre-Christmas period in the Haßberge district. While the classic Kirchweihen of Lower Franconia are mostly celebrated in late summer or early autumn, Wonfurt sets a late accent: in mid-November, the Siedlerheim at the TSV grounds becomes a festival hall and attracts guests from all over the Maintal region to Wonfurt.
Cover Bands and Honest Club Life
The heart of the event is the live music evenings, which the TSV regularly hosts with nationally known cover bands. Groups like »Breakout Boys« or »11 Square« have taken audiences on a journey through several decades of rock, soul, funk, and pop in the past. The atmosphere is anything but stiff: active members, supporting members, neighbors, and visitors celebrate together.
More Than Just a Party

Vorstadtkirchweih — edition 2026
This year's Vorstadtkirchweih will take place from November 13 to 15, 2026, in the Siedlerheim at the TSV grounds. The municipality of Wonfurt officially lists the festival in its event calendar; the exact program will traditionally be announced a few weeks beforehand via the TSV website and Facebook channels.
As in previous years, the program is expected to include live music on Friday and Saturday evenings with cover bands, a cozy festival Sunday with sports activities and a cafeteria, and Franconian catering throughout the weekend. Tentative Program
- Friday, November 13, 2026 — Opening from 6:00 PM in the Siedlerheim, live cover band in the evening.
- Saturday, November 14, 2026 — Festival activities with catering, dance with live band in the evening.
- Sunday, November 15, 2026 — Morning pint, home game for the TSV footballers at noon with Kirchweih cafeteria, winding down in the afternoon.

Prices Vorstadtkirchweih 2026
Admission to the festival grounds is usually free during the day. An admission fee of approximately 7 Euros may be charged for the live music evenings (price as of 2023). Binding information will be announced by TSV Wonfurt before the festival.

Getting There
The Siedlerheim and the TSV Wonfurt sports grounds are located on the western outskirts of the village. By car via the A 70 (Haßfurt exit) or by train to Haßfurt and then by bus to Wonfurt.
Admission
A small admission fee is usually charged on concert evenings (most recently around 7 Euros); otherwise, admission is free during the day. Current tariffs can be found on tsv-wonfurt.org and on the TSV Facebook page.
Tip
If you are arriving by car, come early – parking spaces around the sports grounds are limited, and there is no shuttle service.
