Viöl — Center of the Viöler Land

Viöl is a municipality with around 1,200 inhabitants in the district of Nordfriesland in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the main town of the so-called Viöler Land — an open, agriculturally characterized region between Husum and Flensburg. The municipality is located on the Treßsee lake and is a point of contact for several smaller towns in the surrounding area.
