Uellendahl trödelt 2026 — the neighbourhood opens its courtyards

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Wuppertal district of Uellendahl will transform into a large open-air flea market from 10 AM to 5 PM. Over 150 private stalls will be spread across the front yards, courtyards, and garages of residents, forming a treasure-trove trail through the northern district. This is the 2nd edition of the format — following its spontaneous launch in 2025, which immediately became a district phenomenon.

What makes "Uellendahl trödelt" special?

Unlike traditional flea markets, the format adheres to clear principles:

• Only private residents participate — no businesses, no professional flea market vendors
• Genuine second-hand goods from cellars and attics — no new items, no mass-produced goods
• Locations right on your doorstep — sellers operate from their own gardens or garages
• Organized entirely voluntarily — no stall fees, no registration pressure, no commercial organizer
• Goal: Foster community and give used items a second life

Anyone strolling through Uellendahl on April 25 will find typical household treasures:
